Why I Chose Psychiatry

I didn’t enter this field from the outside. I’ve lived it. My own struggles with anxiety and depression grew out of family conflict, career pressure, and relationship challenges. And for a long time, I didn’t know how to get out of that fog.

Finding my way through that changed everything for me. Now, helping others do the same isn’t just my job, it’s what I’m meant to do.

I truly know what it’s like to feel stuck and overwhelmed. My role is to listen closely, understand what is really going on beneath the surface to help you move toward clarity and balance on your terms.” — David Ha, PMHN

I highly recommend this service. The people are professional, knowledgeable, and experienced with treating many mental health conditions. It is beneficial for me because I have anxiety alongside my ADHD, and a lot of it is more anxiety than ADHD. By helping me with that, my ADHD got better. I have come to a better understanding of mental health as a spectrum and how each person falls into different severities. Charlene explains everything thoroughly, and it made it easier for me to get on the right medications.

Just had an amazing session for psychiatry. Jonathan explains everything very well with the medications, and we went through different choices, which I liked, instead of just jumping to one medication. I have been to other psychiatrists who recommend something and do not really explain why, whereas he discusses different options and the benefits and drawbacks of each one. I got clarity on what the next best steps would be for me. I highly recommend if you have ADHD, are looking for ADHD treatment, or are just not sure whether you have it.

Best telehealth experience for sure. Very knowledgeable provider. The appointment is straightforward without me having to give a ton of records from my previous visits. I got my medication quickly and easily without any friction or barriers. Great service. I like that my psych NP Sarah sends me assessments between visits to fill out. She is great about tracking my symptoms to help see how I am benefiting and how I might benefit from other treatments. Sarah is very dialed in for sure. I highly recommend for people wanting clarity and symptom resolution for their ADHD.
