Why not Psychiatry? I chose psychiatry because I genuinely enjoy people. I enjoy their lives, their journeys, and their unique differences. This field allows me the privilege of meeting individuals at various points in their lives, whether they are facing challenges, celebrating successes, or navigating transitions. I am drawn to the opportunity to walk alongside my patients, providing guidance, support, and evidence-based care to help them overcome obstacles and foster personal growth.

I had a great experience with my session. I felt understood, not rushed, and not ashamed to tell my story. David is very attentive to my questions, which I appreciate a lot. He gave me great insight into behavioral things I am doing that disrupt my day. He does not just prescribe medication. He listens and provides therapy services too, which is nice because I can get both in the same visit. Highly recommend.

I feel very comfortable talking to Ryan about my challenges and the things I am not happy about. He helped me consider symptoms I had dismissed for a while when it came to eating patterns. He gives me great strategies for nervous system regulation that also benefit my ADHD. He explained how the eating is tied to nervous system regulation and to the ADHD, and how regulating that would help. I have put some of the exercises into practice and I am still seeing benefits.
