Diana brings a calming presence to the session. She is very well prepared and thoroughly listens to me. I feel very seen and understood. I like that the visits are longer than the previous places I went to. Fairly easy booking process.

Hi, I’m Maureen.
Most people come to me tired — overwhelmed, stuck, or pushing through on their own for longer than they should have had to. Sometimes they know exactly what’s wrong. Often they just know that something isn’t right.
What we do together is slow things down, make sense of what’s going on, and look at the options side by side. I want to understand your life from your perspective, because the better I understand you as a person, the better the care I can give you.
You will never leave one of my appointments feeling like a decision was made for you. My job is to listen, give you honest, high-quality advice, lay out the choices, and then make the decision with you.
Whoever you are and whatever you’re coming in for, what you’ll get from me is dignity, respect, and high-quality care. If that’s the kind of care you’re looking for, I’d be glad to meet you.

I work with adults across a wide range of mental health concerns. People commonly come to me for:
I welcome patients of every background, and I work regularly with LGBTQIA+ patients and with veterans.
Together we’ll look at the whole picture and build a plan that fits your life.
When I was an undergraduate, a close friend of mine was going through serious mental health challenges, and she turned to me. I told her I thought she needed help, and that I would help her find it. What I learned in the process was how hard that is — and when she finally did get care, it wasn’t good care.
Watching someone I loved go through that, and feeling helpless alongside her, is what set my direction. I wanted the access to be better and the quality to be better. I considered several paths into healthcare and found psychiatric nursing, and it was the right fit.
I chose to work as a nurse before becoming a nurse practitioner, which turned out to be one of the most valuable decisions I made. I still think about my inpatient days all the time when I’m practicing.
My approach now starts with getting to know you. I’m genuinely interested in people — all kinds of jobs, backgrounds, beliefs, and lives — and respect is a large part of how I practice. The more someone trusts you, the more they’ll tell you, and the more they tell you, the more you can actually help.
I lean on motivational interviewing, on education, and on supportive listening. I find that explaining what’s happening is empowering: people come back to the next visit understanding their own condition, and the changes hold better when you arrived at them yourself.
And everything you tell me stays between us. That’s not a policy I follow, it’s something I take seriously and permanently.

Very easy to connect with Sarah in between appointments. That was one of my biggest concerns going into this. Sometimes I have questions between appointments and there is nothing worse than getting a voicemail, but they use messaging, which I like because I can just send a message on my phone. Highly recommend. Very great service and efficient too.
Diana is very kind, caring, and thoughtful, and considers my viewpoint on my symptoms without jumping to conclusions. I am very pleased with the outcome I got with my school accommodations. That was stressing me out for a long time. She addressed my ADHD symptoms with my school and got me the time I needed for test taking. She is very quick in getting back to me, and she made the diagnosis paperwork very easy. Much appreciated.
