This service includes a comprehensive structured interview that reviews your full medical and personal history, current concerns, and overall mental health needs. From this assessment, your provider can formulate a diagnosis and make individualized treatment recommendations. Depending on your health profile, baseline laboratory testing may also be suggested to support accurate care.

During this initial psychiatric evaluation, medications may or may not be prescribed. To ensure safe and accurate treatment, Peak Wellness Psychiatry does not typically refill existing prescriptions until prior treatment records are reviewed and/or contact has been made with your previous provider. This approach helps prevent duplicate prescriptions and reduces the risk of medication errors while creating a clear, tailored treatment plan for your mental wellness.
